As part of ESEA Heritage Month, Sydenham Library welcomes artist Carry Hornby for a Chinese bookmark making session. Carry is Forest Hill Library's Artist in Residence, a Chinese brush artist and calligraphy teacher based in South East London, whose practice draws on ink and brush techniques she's honed since childhood. This session offers a chance to try your hand at a traditional craft in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Free and open to all, no booking experience or prior skill needed.
